Moose Hide Campaign Day

April 13, 2026 at 12:37 pm  Education, Kamloops, News

Join us and Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc for the Moose Hide Campaign Day!

The Moose Hide Campaign began in British Columbia as an Indigenous-led movement to engage men and boys in ending violence against women and children.

Today, it brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous people across Canada who are committed to taking action and creating safer communities.

On May 14, people across the country will come together to learn, reflect, and stand in solidarity. You can show your support by wearing a moose hide pin, joining the movement, and taking part in community events like this one.

Join us and be part of the movement to end violence against women and children.

Date: Thursday, May 14

Time: 1:30 – 3 p.m.

Location: TRU Kamloops campus (outside the OLARA building)

Free transit is available May 14 from 12 – 4 p.m. via Route 18 (TteS to Lansdowne) and Routes 7 and 9 (Landsdowne to TRU).
