Advocates call for Canadian action in response to human rights violations in Gaza – March 31, 2026

At a news conference on Parliament Hill, doctors and human rights activists call for Canadian action in response to reports of alleged human rights violations by Israeli Defence Forces against a Palestinian toddler in Gaza.

Among the speakers are Fareed Khan (founder, Canadians United Against Hate), Maysa Hawwash (Doctors Against Genocide), Dr. Ben Thomson (Eye Witness Gaza), Dr. Aliya Khan (co-chair, Doctors for Humanity), Rabbi David Mivasair (Independent Jewish Voice) and Hugh Doherty (co-chair, Canadians in Support of Refugees in Dire Need).
