MPs comment on Quebec tramway project, Air Canada CEO’s condolence video – March 26, 2026

Minister Joël Lightbound (public works and procurement) speaks about the federal government’s potential support for the Quebec City tramway project.

Lightbound and Minister Marc Miller (Canadian identity and culture) also face questions on the continuing controversy over Air Canada CEO Michael Rousseau’s English-only condolence message following the deadly plane collision at New York’s LaGuardia airport.

Miller also speaks about the impact of the ongoing news ban on Meta’s social media platforms.

NDP MP Jenny Kwan, Conservative MP Michael Chong and Liberal MP Rob Oliphant respond to questions on Liberal MP Michael Ma’s recent questioning of a witness at committee over human rights abuses in Xingang, China.
