Comments ahead of fourth day of SCC hearings on Quebec’s Bill 21 – March 26, 2025

In Ottawa, lawyers and other representatives speak with journalists as the Supreme Court hears arguments for a second day regarding a court challenge against Bill 21, Quebec’s law on state secularism. This law forbids officials in positions of authority from wearing conspicuous religious symbols at work.
