The New Democratic Party of Canada will soon choose its next leader. Last spring, former leader Jagmeet Singh resigned after the party’s devastating election result reduced the party to just 7 seats in the House of Commons.

Award-winning CPAC host Michael Serapio sits down with the five NDP leadership candidates — Rob Ashton, Tanille Johnston, Avi Lewis, Heather McPherson and Tony McQuail — to discuss their platforms and the future of the federal party.
