Group calls for transparency and reasonable timelines in immigration processing – March 13, 2026

At a news conference in Ottawa, a group of permanent residence and visa applicants call for improvements to immigration processing, including greater transparency and more reasonable timelines. The group is also urging the government to provide one-time funding to address prolonged cases and backlogs.
