Prime Minister Mark Carney and Northwest Territories Premier R.J. Simpson deliver brief remarks ahead of their meeting in Yellowknife. Their meeting follows the prime minister’s announcement of a new plan to defend and transform Canada’s Northern and Arctic region. They are joined by Rebecca Alty, the federal minister of Crown-Indigenous relations.
