At a news conference in Ottawa, federal ministers Gary Anandasangaree (public safety) and Sean Fraser (justice) announce “new tools” for law enforcement agencies to investigate threats.

The ministers are joined by Ruby Sahota (secretary of state for combatting crime), Eric Stubbs (chief of the Ottawa Police Service), Bryan Larkin (senior deputy commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police), and Thomas Carrique (commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police).
