Storm Take Commanding Lead With Game 3 Win

The Kamloops Storm take a commanding 3 games to 0 lead in the best of seven Doug Birks semi-final divisional playoff series vs the Chase Heat with a 5-1 win in game three in Chase Tuesday night. Aidan Fisher had two goals while Kuy Schmirler had a goal and an assist to lead the way for the Storm. Luca D’Amore, and Cale Nachai added singles in support of winning netminder Brenner Fyfe who made 26 saves on the night. Kamloops had 42 shots of their own and went 1 for 3 on their power play while they killed off both man disadvantages they had. Game 4 goes Wednesday in Chase as the Storm look to close out the series.
