Minister Anand and Sidhu comment on Iran attack, new report on Sikh activist killing – March 2, 2026

Federal ministers Anita Anand (foreign affairs) and Maninder Sidhu (international trade) speak with reporters in New Delhi, India, where they are accompanying Prime Minister Mark Carney on an official visit. They face questions on joint U.S. and Israel military attack on Iran. They are also asked about a new Globe and Mail report that alleges that Indian consular officials in Vancouver were involved in the killing of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, B.C.
