L’Essentiel : Un premier voyage en Inde pour Mark Carney – 25 février 2026

Mark Carney se rendra en Inde, en Australie et au Japon à partir de jeudi. Ce sera la première visite de monsieur Carney en Inde à titre de premier ministre. Il rencontrera des chefs d’entreprise à Mumbai, avant de rencontrer le premier ministre Narendra Modi à New Delhi. Marc-André Cossette reçoit la première ministre du Nouveau-Brunswick, Susan Holt, qui accompagnera le premier ministre à Mumbai.

Le président Donald Trump a fait un tour d’honneur hier soir lors de son discours sur l’état de l’Union. Il a vanté l’économie, attaqué les démocrates et à peine effleuré les enjeux internationaux. Son allocution, d’une durée record de 108 minutes, devient la plus longue jamais prononcée devant le Congrès. Garret Martin, professeur à l’École du service international de la American University, à Washington, analyse ce discours avec Marc-André Cossette.

À sept mois des élections générales au Québec, un nouveau sondage indique que l’écart se resserre entre le Parti Québécois et le Parti libéral du Québec. Selon un coup de sonde de Pallas Data, réalisé pour Qc125 et L’Actualité, le PQ obtiendrait 30% des intentions de vote. Marc-André Cossette s’entretient avec Philippe J. Fournier, fondateur et rédacteur–en-chef de Qc125 et 338Canada, pour décortiquer ces chiffres.
