Toronto-based charity launches recovery campaign for Ukraine – February 23, 2026

In Ottawa, the Canada-Ukraine Foundation launches a campaign in support of “Ukraine’s long-term sustainability and recovery” ahead of the four-year mark since Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Speaking with reporters are Ihor Michalchyshyn, CEO and executive director of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, and Valeriy Kostyuk, executive director of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation, as well as Marichka Bokovnia and Sofiia Ringis, two displaced Ukrainians living in Canada.
