Rob Lantz sworn in as P.E.I. premier after winning PC leadership – February 9, 2026

Lieutenant Governor Wassim Salamoun presides over a swearing-in ceremony in Charlottetown for Rob Lantz, the new premier of Prince Edward Island. Lantz won the Progressive Conservative party’s leadership on February 7 after previously serving as interim leader and premier after Dennis King’s resignation last year.
