MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons. They face questions on a number of topics, including the federal government’s new plan for the automotive industry that includes a repeal of its EV sales mandate, $2.3 billion in buyer incentives for electric vehicles, and new greenhouse gas emission standards.

Speaking with reporters are Conservative MPs Raquel Dancho and Kyle Seeback, Liberal MPs Ben Carr and Corey Hogan, Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, and NDP MPs Gorn Johns, Alexandre Boulerice, and Don Davies (the party’s interim leader). (no interpretation)
