Labour leaders call for focus on workers in trade negotiations – February 4, 2026

At a news conference in Ottawa, the leaders of a number of labour organizations call on federal parliamentarians to prioritize Canadian workers in trade negotiations and economic strategy. In attendance at this event are representatives from the Canadian Labour Congress, Unifor, CUPE, United Steelworkers, PSAC, and the Machinists Union.
