Réagissant à la promesse du PQ de tenir un référendum au lendemain d’une victoire aux élections générales, les premiers ministres Carney et Legault plaident tous en faveur de l’unité canadienne mais concèdent que «c’est aux Québécois de décider de l’avenir du Québec».
