Federal public service union discusses government job cuts – January 28, 2026

In Ottawa, representatives from the Public Service Alliance of Canada hold a news conference to discuss the layoff notices sent to thousands of federal government workers over the last few weeks.

Speaking with reporters are PSAC National President Sharon DeSousa and National Executive Vice-President Alex Silas.
