Elected officials, diplomats and community figures gather in Ottawa to commemorate victims of the Holocaust. The ceremony takes place on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, this year marking the 81st anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.

Speakers at the event include Prime Minister Mark Carney, Israel’s Ambassador to Canada Iddo Moed, and Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe.
