Le PM du Québec François Legault fait le point à la suite de sa démission – 21 janvier 2026

À Québec, au lendemain de sa décision de démissionner de son poste de premier ministre, François Legault fait le point sur les prochains mois qui à terme, verront l’élection d’un nouveau chef de la CAQ lors d’une courte course à la direction de son parti. Celle-ci ou celui-ci deviendra automatiquement premier ministre du Québec Il a assuré que son gouvernement poursuivra ses priorités, notamment la défense du français et de l’économie québécoise. Après son allocution, il a répondu aux questions des journalistes, affirmant que la CAQ survivra à son départ et jugeant normal que certains élus renoncent à se représenter. Il a aussi indiqué qu’il n’appuiera aucun candidat et qu’il ne compte pas proroger la session parlementaire.
