The Murdoch vs Murdoch case of the Supreme Court of Canada in 1975 is one of the landmark decisions of the history of the country. Judges ruled against a wife against a husband when the separated wife received no compensation for her work in her husband’s ranch. But an important dissension was made in this case by Justice Bora Laskin.
