
Storm Erupt In 3rd Period In Rout Of Heat

The Kamloops Storm erupted for 7 third period goals to rout the Chase Heat 9-0 in KIJHL action in Kamloops on Sunday. The Storm led 2-0 after two periods on goals by Noah Paulsen and Kuy Schmirler but then the flood gates opened. Luca D’Amore, Teghan Mullin, Quinn Ramsay, Nicholas Clark, Cale Nachai, and Hayden Selin scored in the third period for the Storm. Ramsay, D’Amore, and Paulsen had a goal and an assist each while Wyatt Olson had 3 assists and Nicholas Clark and Teghan Mullin had a goal and an assist each. Joshua Nuttall got the win and the shutout stopping all 23 shots he faced. Kamloops had 60 shots of their own and went 3 for 5 on the power play and killed all 3 power plays against.
