New Brunswick unveils action plan for Alzheimer’s, dementia – January 8, 2026

New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt announces the launch of a three-year strategy and action plan to better support residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Also speaking at the event in Fredericton are John Dornan, the province’s minister of health, Lyne Chantal Boudreau, the minister responsible for seniors, Chandra MacBean, the executive director of the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, and Jane Van Horne, a retired long-term care home nurse.
