Map the System is a global competition that asks students and educators to rethink social and environmental issues through systems thinking — going beyond disciplines and questioning deeply held assumptions.

Join the Economic Trust of the Southern Interior for an info session on Map the System 2026.

Date: Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026

Time: 11 a.m. – noon

Location: OLARA 2nd floor, Research Hub

This session will provide an overview of the competition, key deadlines, participation requirements and available supports at TRU.

Whether you are new to systems thinking or looking to develop a project idea, this session will help you understand how to get involved, set yourself up for success and get entered for a chance to win a trip to Oxford this summer!
