Campus clothing exchange donation drop off

January 5, 2026 at 6:15 pm  Education, Kamloops, News

Join the TRUSU Equity Committee in donating gently used second-hand clothing to the Campus Clothing Exchange.

This initiative provides free, accessible clothing to TRU students who may need it most.

This program helps students find the clothing they need without worrying about the financial burden of buying clothes.

Drop-off details:

Please drop off your donations at the TRUSU building across from the Membership Services Desk. The desk is open from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. on weekends throughout January.

To arrange for larger group donations, contact the equity coordinator and we can see how we can help.

Considerations for donations

  • Warm clothing, jackets, pants, hats and mitts for winter
  • Professional wear for career-oriented students
  • Everyday clothing in good, wearable condition
  • Clean and gently used items only
