At a news conference on Parliament Hill, various humanitarian and activist groups call attention to the situation in Gaza and urge the federal government to take action.

Speaking at the event are Fareed Khan (founder of Canadians United Against Hate), Hugh Doherty (co-chair, Canadians in Support of Refugees in Dire Need), Rabbi David Mivasair (Independent Jewish Voices), Dr. Aliya Khan and Catherine Clase (co-chairs, Doctors for Humanity), Brianna Olson Pitawanakwat (United for Peace – Canadian Interfaith Coalition).
