Treaty 8 First Nations Demand a Pause on MOU: “We Have to be Part of Those Discussions”

Chiefs from Treaty 8 First Nations of Alberta are in Ottawa today to demand a pause on the Alberta-Ottawa MOU until they are consulted. They say it breeches their treaty rights and Canada’s obligations. To know more about their demands, CPAC’s Michael Serapio interviews Trevor Mercredi, Grand Chief of Treaty 8 First Nations of Alberta.
