The Bank of Canada maintained its key interest rate at 2.25% yesterday. Despite this, the central bank warns that uncertainty for the Canadian economy is still high. So, what’s Canada’s economic outlook? Ashvin Ahuja, the International Monetary Fund Mission Chief for Canada says the country has managed the shock from American tariffs better than expected, but he warns that Canada’s biggest challenge in the long term is about boosting productivity.
