Qui sera le prochain ambassadeur du Canada aux États-Unis?

Le Canada aura bientôt un nouvel ambassadeur à Washington. Kirsten Hillman a annoncé hier qu’elle quittera son poste au début de la nouvelle année, après avoir représenté le pays dans la capitale américaine pendant six ans. Le premier ministre Mark Carney a indiqué qu’il nommerait son successeur au cours des prochaines semaines. Selon Louise Blais, ancienne ambassadrice et représentante permanente adjointe du Canada à l’ONU de 2017 à 2021, le prochain titulaire devrait provenir du milieu des affaires et être particulièrement accessible.
