Autre signe que les États-Unis cherchent à rompre avec le multilatéralisme et à écarter l’ACÉUM : le principal négociateur commercial du président Trump, Jamieson Greer, a déclaré aujourd’hui, lors d’un événement organisé par l’Atlantic Council à Washington, que l’administration envisageait de mettre fin à l’accord de libre-échange trilatéral avec le Canada et le Mexique au profit d’ententes bilatérales. Pour discuter de la stratégie du Canada visant à protéger les emplois de l’industrie automobile, Marc-André Cossette reçoit la ministre de l’Industrie, Mélanie Joly.
