Federal and Ontario governments announce extension to child-care agreement – December 4, 2025

Patty Hajdu, the federal minister of jobs and families, and Paul Calandra, the Ontario minister of education, hold a news conference in Ottawa to announce an extension to the Canada–Ontario early learning and child care agreement.

They are joined by Liberal MPs Yasir Naqvi and Mona Fortier.
