Statement from BCNDP Government Caucus Chair regarding the health of BCNDP MLA Joan Phillip

VICTORIA – BCNDP Government Caucus Chair Garry Begg has issued the following statement regarding Joan Phillip, the BCNDP MLA for Vancouver-Strathcona:
“Our dear colleague, Joan Phillip, is experiencing some health issues at this time and is undergoing additional tests.
“The BCNDP Caucus fully supports her and we are sending our love and strength to Joan. We ask that the public do the same while respecting her privacy.
“While she takes the time to address her health needs, Joan will continue to represent the residents of Vancouver-Strathcona, her office remains open, and her staff continue to serve and assist constituents.”
