“Fed up”: How do Marc Miller’s Comments on French Affect the Liberal government?

Marc Miller, the newly appointed Minister Responsible for Official Languages, said on Tuesday that he refuses to accept the notion that French is in complete decline in Quebec. This has sparked a strong reaction in Quebec. Premier François Legault called Miller a “disgrace to all Quebecers”. CPAC’s Michael Serapio discusses the impact this controversy has on Carney’s government with Martine St-Victor, communications strategist and general manager at Edelman in Montreal, and Jonathan Kalles, vice president at McMillan Vantage and former Quebec advisor to Justin Trudeau.
