Alberta unveils plan to fight federal gun buyback program – December 2, 2025

At a news conference in Edmonton, Alberta Justice Minister Mickey Amery announces his government’s plan to introduce a motion to prevent provincial agencies, including police, from enforcing the federal gun seizure program. The motion will be made under the Alberta Sovereignty within a United Canada Act.
