Alberta’s Pipeline “is not a Serious Proposal” – BC Energy Minister

Over the weekend, British Columbia Premier David Eby said he would be open to a new pipeline if Ottawa maintained the tanker ban off the province’s northern coast. For her part, Danielle Smith says she appreciates the sensitivities surrounding that oil tanker moratorium, but that for now she still favours a pipeline that would end in Prince Rupert. Adrian Dix, British Columbia’s minister of energy and climate solutions, insists the proposed project isn’t realistic or viable economically.
