At this year’s Halifax International Security Forum, an annual gathering of government, military and civil leaders, the focus was democracy. The question on how committed the United States is to preserving and fostering democracy was a central subject of discussion. CPAC’s Michael Serapio addressed this and the tumultuous Canada-U.S. relationship with Democratic Senator Chris Coons (Delaware).
