Auto dealers call for “full reset” on feds’ EV sales mandate – November 27, 2025

Representatives from the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association call for a “full reset” on the federal government’s electric vehicle (EV) sales mandate, citing pressures on the industry from U.S. tariffs and rising affordability concerns for consumers.

Speaking at the news conference in Ottawa are association president Tim Reuss and chief economist Charles Benard.
