Ukraine: On est encore loin de la paix, estime un ancien ambassadeur en Russie

L’administration Trump intensifie ses efforts pour mettre fin à la guerre entre la Russie et l’Ukraine. Des responsables américains et russes se sont rencontrés aujourd’hui pendant plusieurs heures à Abu Dhabi. Cette rencontre fait suite aux discussions tenues en fin de semaine à Genève entre les États-Unis et l’Ukraine pour peaufiner le plan de paix en 28 points présenté par Washington la semaine dernière. La paix en Ukraine est-elle enfin à portée de main? Jeremy Kinsman, ancien ambassadeur du Canada en Russie, estime qu’il est à peu près impossible d’en arriver à un cessez-le-feu.
