Trump’s Peace Plan for Ukraine “Is a Demand for Their Surrender”, says Former Ambassador to Russia

The Trump administration is continuing its efforts to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. American and Russian officials met today for several hours at Abu Dhabi. This meeting follows discussions held last weekend between the United States and Ukraine to refine the 28 point American peace plan released last week. Is peace in sight? Jeremy Kinsman, who served as Canada’s ambassador to Russia from 1992 to 1996, believes that any plan that subjugates Ukraine and diminishes its military would destroy international norms.
