Projet de pipeline de l’Alberta : Un « constat d’échec », selon un expert

Le gouvernement fédéral et l’Alberta seraient sur le point de conclure une entente énergétique susceptible d’ouvrir la voie à un nouveau pipeline de bitume vers le nord-ouest de la Colombie-Britannique. Le premier ministre Mark Carney et la première ministre albertaine Danielle Smith doivent annoncer jeudi la signature d’un protocole d’entente. Pour Yvan Cliche, spécialiste de l’énergie au Centre d’études et de recherches internationales de l’Université de Montréal, il s’agit surtout d’un exercice de mise en scène politique plutôt que d’un projet économique crédible.
