MPs comment on Canada’s foreign policy, trade talks with the U.S. – November 24, 2025

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree, Liberal MPs Wayne Long, Anthony Housefather and Marc Miller, as well as NDP MP Leah Gazan respond to questions on Prime Minister Mark Carney’s recent statement about Canada not having a feminist foreign policy.

Liberal MPs Ben Carr and Tom Osborne, Conservative MP Michael Barrett, as well as Long, Miller and Housefather are asked about the way forward for trade negotiations with the Trump administration.

Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne, Conservative MP Ellis Ross, NDP Gord Johns, as well as Liberal MPs Sukh Dhaliwal and Ron McKinnon face questions on the possibility of a new bitumen pipeline from Alberta to the north coast of B.C
