Projet de pipeline: Bientôt une entente avec l’Alberta?

Ottawa et l’Alberta seraient sur le point de conclure une entente énergétique que la première ministre Danielle Smith réclame depuis longtemps. Selon le Globe and Mail, qui cite deux sources fédérales, l’accord prévoirait la construction d’un pipeline pétrolier vers la côte nord-ouest de la Colombie-Britannique. Il prendrait la forme d’un protocole d’entente destiné à stimuler le secteur pétrolier et gazier albertain. Martha Hall Findlay, directrice de l’École de politiques publiques de l’Université de Calgary et ex-responsable des enjeux climatiques chez Suncor, voit ce développement d’un bon œil.
