MPs comment on possible Alberta pipeline deal, border security bill – November 20, 2025

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Liberal MP Hedy Fry and Bloc Québécois MP Xavier Barsalou-Duval face questions on reports of a possible energy deal between Alberta and the federal government, which could include a new bitumen pipeline from that province to the north coast of British Columbia.

Conservative Veterans Affairs critic Blake Richards comments on a CBC news report on the government attempting to retroactively change a decades-old law that resulted in veterans being overcharged for long-term care.
