
Liberals on possible pipeline from Alberta to B.C. coast – November 19, 2025

Ministers François-Philippe Champagne (finance), Steven Guilbeault (Canadian identity and culture) and Sean Fraser (justice) as well as Liberal MPs James Maloney, Patrick Weiler, Jaime Battiste, Patrick Weiler, Will Greaves, Gurbux Saini, Corey Hogan, Kevin Lamoureux, Jonathan Wilkinson, Taleeb Noormohamed, Karina Gould face questions on reports that the federal government and Alberta are nearing an energy deal that would include an oil pipeline from that province to the northwest coast of British Columbia.
Ministers Steven MacKinnon (government House leader), Joël Lightbound (public works and procurement) and Champagne as well as MPs Stéphane Lauzon and Sophie Chatel comment on issues plaguing the Quebec Liberal party related to an alleged vote-for-cash scheme.
