At a news conference in Ottawa, a group of industry representatives discuss the economic potential of a national electrification effort in Canada.

Speaking with reporters are Merran Smith (president of New Economy Canada), Colleen Giroux-Schmidt (senior vice-president of Innergex), Tabatha Bull (president and CEO of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business), Matt Harper (president of Invinity Energy Systems), and John Risley (chairman and CEO of CFFI Ventures Inc).
