National defence spending is a priority in the federal budget. The Carney government is allocating more than $70 billion over five years, in addition to the $9 billion announced earlier this year. Minister of National Defence David McGuinty addresses the new investments on the military and Canada’s efforts to rebuild, rearm and reinvest with CPAC’s Andrew Thomson.
