Dans son budget, le gouvernement Carney prévoit investir plus de 80 milliards de dollars au cours des cinq prochaines années pour réarmer les Forces armées canadiennes. Cet effort est présenté comme le plus important en matière de défense depuis des décennies. Le ministre de la Défense nationale, David McGuinty, détaille comment ces nouvelles sommes seront déployées.
