MPs comment on federal budget, MP Chris d’Entremont joining Liberal caucus – November 5, 2025

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Interim NDP Leader Don Davies and NDP MP Alexandre Boulerice respond to questions on whether they intend to vote in support of the Liberal budget.

Boulerice also comments on Zohran Mamdani’s election as mayor of New York City.

Liberal MP Rob Oliphant is asked about MP Chris d’Entremont’s decision to leave the Conservative party and join the Liberal caucus.

NDP MP Jenny Kwan responds to the government new plan for immigration in the federal budget.
