Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew highlights new legislation to combat meth crisis – November 5, 2025

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew holds a news conference in Winnipeg to highlight the newly-passed Bill 48, the Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act. The new law provides support to health-care professionals and police in combatting the growing meth crisis across the province.
