Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s anti-tariff ad campaign received mixed reactions in Canada and the U.S., including negative responses from President Trump and U.S. Ambassador to Canada Hoekstra. Was the ad a mistake that led to the end of trade negotiations? Or was it a necessary move by the premier to try to help sectors impacts by tariffs? Strategists Susan Smith and Cole Hogan talk with CPAC’s Michael Serapio to give their perspectives on the issue.
