Bank of Canada cuts interest rate to 2.25 per cent – October 29, 2025

In Ottawa, Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem discusses the central bank’s decision to lower its key interest rate by 25 basis points to 2.25 per cent. He is joined by senior deputy governor Carolyn Rogers.
